The individual reflectors produce an even contour (parallel light-dark stripes) on the painted car body. If defects are present, these will disrupt the even contour of the stripes. This allows rapid and clear recognition of even the smallest irregularities.
With a width of 2,500 mm the reflector units allow the illumination of entire body areas, such as the bonnet or a side part etc.
In contrast to standard light systems, the indirect light used for the ERGO-LUX system avoids the bright spots which the reflection of the light source engenders, dazzling workers.
Furthermore, the positioning of the lamps above the body significantly reduces the heat build-up inside the light tunnel, thus significantly improving the ergonomics of the light tunnel as a place of work.
