We are at home in a sector that is a few steps ahead of the healthcare industry when it comes to standardization, efficiency, digitalization and, most of all, process optimization.
Cruise ships and hospitals have a lot in common such as stringent fire safety requirements and resilient technology. Like our ship cabins, our hospital modules have been fine-tuned down to the last detail. They have to be functional and robust. Space, time and budgets are scarce in shipbuilding.
Our company is now stepping forward to take our extensive experience from the demanding shipbuilding segment and apply it to future health care facilities. To meet the needs of the health care sector, our modular construction team has enhanced our sandwich walls and fitted the floors with a specially designed, lightweight concrete. The walls are coated with a special decorative film that is easy to clean, stands up to cleansers and disinfecting agents and retains its visual appeal.
In addition to patient rooms, nursing stations and examination rooms, we can also optimize our concept to create technology centers, laboratories and other high-tech areas. With support from hospital sector experts, our designers have given future-oriented functionality a great deal of thought and loving attention to detail.
Right now, we are entering new territory. We are taking our comprehensive expertise from the demanding segment of ocean tourism and extending it to the healthcare industry. Drawing upon our love of detail and understanding of the unique demands of the medical industry, we have begun producing patient rooms, nursing stations, examination rooms, breakfast rooms and everything else that hospitals need.
